Offering 100 pitches, Campingpark Bad Kissingen is surrounded by the River Saale, right opposite the wonderful spa park close to the town centre. Germany’s best known spa town is steeped in history offering guests a multitude of attractions. The Bavarian state spa resort is Europe’s oldest graduation site and is home to Bavaria’s oldest golf course (1911). Bad Kissingen is home to the largest ensemble of historic spa buildings, constructed around the spa gardens. Bad Kissingen is one of eleven highly traditional European spa towns which were awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in July 2021 as the “Great Spas of Europe”. Europe’s largest promenade, the magnificent Regentenbau concert hall, the wonderful rose garden and the arcades along with the spa gardens and the equally famous Bad Kissingen casino are just some features. Whether listening to a “Kissinger Summer” concert or dipping in the 7000 m² KissSalis thermal baths – there’s something for everyone here! Bad Kissingen has mineral springs to thank for its reputation as a “world spa resort” where tsars and kings met.
